Vibgyor Vehicles' second plant to go on stream in May

He said the company has already invested Rs 55 crore on setting up the plant, which is coming up in Dankuni in West Bengal. The company unveiled 150 cc bike called Shark and another 120 cc bike under the brand name "Hunter". It said the two products will be available in the market by March this year and will be priced at Rs 49,990 and Rs 41,990 respectively. Besides, the company also plans to foray into the scooter segment with the launch of 125 cc two wheeler this year. "We will launch a 200 cc bike and a scooter in the festival season," Bhadra said. On the back of new launches the company expects its sales to touch one lakh units next year. The company forayed into the two-wheeler business last year and has already sold 3000 bikes in the last 7 months. It sells bikes under the "Gallop" brand in the market. Vibgyor vehicle, which is part of auto component maker Vibgyor Group, also plans to invest Rs 660 crore over the next two years, including in its two wheeler business.
