Sensex rebounds, up 20pts

The Sensex has mangaed to erase all of its losses and has rebounded into the positive zone. The index is now at 15,646, up 17 points. The NSE Nifty is at 4,648, up six points. Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and SBI have dropped over 2% each to Rs 404, Rs 106 and Rs 1,751, respectively. Jaiprakash Associates, ICICI Bank, DLF and ONGG have shed around 2% each to Rs 217, Rs 753, Rs 387 and Rs 1,176, respectively. Tata Power, HDFC, ITC, ACC, Infosys and HDFC Bank are down around 1.5% each. Wipro has added 2% to Rs 536. Tata Motors is up 1% at 464. The market breadth is marginally positive, out of 2,490 shares traded, 1,230 advanced and 1,183 have declined so far on the BSE.
