Sensex off day's high

The Sensex has come off from the day"s high and is now at 17,203, up 71 points. The NSE Nifty is at 5,106, up 15 points. - Markets continue to trade firm - Sensex trading firm; Reliance up 2% - Astec LifeSciences lists with 4% premium on BSE - Markets extend gains - Markets in positive territory - FII-TO-FII TRADES: PNB traded at 7% premium Among the BSE-30 stocks, ACC, Maruti and Hero Honda have soared around 2% each to Rs 798, Rs 1,599 and Rs 1,688, respectively. ITC, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank and Mhaindra & Mahindra have added over 1.5% each at Rs 268, Rs 558, Rs 1,776 and Rs 1,067, respectively. DLF is the major loser. down 2% at Rs 365. The market breadth is fairly positve, out of 2,748 shares traded, 1,446 have advanced and 1,215 have declined so far on the BSE. The BSE oil & gas and FMCG indices are up 1% each.
