Second designer limousine by Yogi Auto Care

Upbeat from the success of his designer limousine rental business, Shashin Shah of Yogi Auto Care has now come up with a second lounge-look limousine developed by leading designer Dilip Chhabria. Shah plans to expand his limousine fleet to have at least one such modified car in every major city of Gujarat in the coming years. - Now, shell out Rs 80,000 more for a designer Nano - DC Design, Carnation tie up for mass segment - So, who"s driving? Dilip Chhabria, promoter of Dilip Chhabria Design private limited, a firm that re-designs cars on existing platforms to suit customer requirements,has designed the limousine developed on a Hyundai Sonata platform for Shah. The 25 feet limousine would be one of the longest cars that Chhabria has designed in his one and a half decade long career. "The overall cost of developing the car has been Rs 60 lakh. The engine is that of a Hyundai Sonata and the back and the front of the car retain the original Hyundai look", Shah said. He plans to charge Rs 25,000 for a 12-hour rental and for taking the vehicle beyond city boundaries it would cost around Rs 150 per kilometer. Shah, who owns a Hyundai Service Centre in the city, already has a white limousine with corporate look in his fleet and has been giving it out on rent for marriages and long-distance travels besides renting it out to celebrities. He declined to give out revenue details. "This one has been designed with a more stylish lounge look, distinct from the earlier one", Shah said. Around 100 such specially designed limousines can be found across the country, Chhabria told reporters here. He has designed nearly 80 per cent of them and sees the demand for such lifestyle cars to be on the rise.
