Railways form panel to identify PPP projects

Apart from identifying socially desirable projects for implementation on a PPP basis, the committee has been asked to chart out Vision 2020 for the Indian Railways, ministry sources said. The committee is to start offering recommendations within 15 days of its first meeting. The 16-member committee has been charged specifically with developing business models for the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor and for utilisation of the railway land bank.
